The Ontario Nuclear Advocacy Committee (ONAC) would like to invite you to attend an SME Local Engagement Workshop.

This past year, the ONAC launched a successful integrated advocacy campaign that increased awareness around the benefits of nuclear energy across our province. The purpose of the campaign is to protect and sustain political and public support for nuclear energy in Ontario.

The ONAC is composed of nuclear industry stakeholders who continue to elevate the value attributes of Ontario’s Nuclear Advantage (ONA) to the fore of public policy decision making and solidify nuclear as a clean, reliable and low-cost foundation for our province.

The workshop includes engagement strategies on a provincial and municipal level, key messaging and special guest speakers including OPG President and CEO Jeff Lyash and Bruce Power President and CEO Michael Rencheck.

The workshop is being held on June 20, 2018 at Hatch Ltd. (2800 Speakman Dr, Mississauga ON L5K 2R7) from 12:00-3:00p.m. Lunch will be provided.

If you would like to participate please RSVP to before June 15, 2018. We kindly request a maximum of 2 guests per invitation as seats are limited and will be extended on a first-come, first-serve basis. Note that the workshop is intended for SME organizations who employ less than 250 employees in their Ontario operations. An agenda will be circulated closer to the date.

Working together, we can ensure that the nuclear industry continues to be the backbone of Ontario’s power system, a cornerstone of the provincial economy, and the most important electricity resource for the future.
